SONS and Suns!!!

Be careful to leave your sons well instructed rather than rich, for the hopes of the instructed are better than the wealth of the ignorant.

Patrick Stanley Ryan

This is Patrick as a blonde, not quite matching the eyebrows but I see a lot of people pulling off that look so whatEV, we let him do it.. It's just hair and he has never done it since.
As with his brothers Patrick was in scouts and here he is at the Pine Derby races. We won a few, lost a few, all in good fun. Pat's older brother Steve helped with the speed racer.

FINALLY a family picture!
I would like you all to meet Pat's real Father. Patrick is our comedian, granted I have some funny kids, but Pat, well he just gets it, witty as heck. Makes everyone in the family laugh.

Also our most athletic at the moment. I put Pat in soccer when he was 3. We had a few seasons of baseball in there too, but standing around is not something Pat does too well, so we put him in sports that keep him moving.

Our other sport we do is basketball (GO SUNS!) Pat is a great ball handler, and pretty quick too, saw some pretty awesome shots this season, even a 3 pointer now and then.

But WAIT! the talent doesn't stop there. Patrick plays a variety of string instruments, including, violin, bass, guitar, banjo, and mandolin. Mandolin is his best one, his fingers fly over those strings.

So you remember the blonde, here we are with our hair, LONG. NOT super long, but longer, and curly. We have had many a battle about this hair (we did with his oldest brother too). He says, "the chicks dig it". PUHlease boy! The short hair helps those baby browns show!

Patrick was over 10 pounds at birth (yes, thank you for your sympathy). He was the biggest baby born in the hospital that year, so far. The nurse told me he needed a BIG name like Bruiser, Manchester, Stan the Man, so this is why Patrick is the only one with 3 names. We stuck Stanley in there even though I was set on Patrick Ryan.
